2020 Salesianum Cross Country

Week #10

Monday: Pre-meet for the Catholic Conference. 20-30 minutes + 6 short, hard, striders! 

Tuesday: Catholic Conference Championships @ Bellevue! 

2:30 pm 1st race at Bellevue State Park. 25 per wave. Waves to be discussed at practice! 

All students, both virtual and in-person, are dismissed from school after 3rd period. Class ends at 1:05. Two Buses leave Salesianum at 1:15pm. All virtual students please meet us at Bellevue at 1:25 pm. In-Person students may drive to the meet. Unfortunately, no spectators! 

Races will be staggered in waves of 25 athletes per wave. Each team gets their top 7 in the first wave, and then waves will be filled based on seed times. 

This is our last regular season let's make it a memorable one!!!!!!

Wednesday: For most of the team, the season ends after Catholics. The top 10-12 runners will continue training for the State Championships on December 5th at Killens Pond State Park! Those runners need to run 45-50 minutes. 

Thursday:  45-50 minutes 

Friday: Varsity Hard workout at the track! 

Saturday: Trying to organize a time to meet at Killens Pond to jog the course! 

Sunday: Regular run of 45-50 minutes. 

Monday: OFF

Tuesday: Hard workout at Salesianum! 

Wednesday: 40 minute recovery run. 

Thursday: Garden Loop + 4x200/200

Friday: Last easy pre-meet before states! 

Saturday: DIAA State Championship. Killens Pond State Park. DI is the last race and they are figuring out staggering arrival times. Arrival and specifics TBA....

Sunday: Senior awards recognition at the new track!
