Monday, January 31st NO SCHOOL
(OPTIONAL FOR THE FUNERAL.  MANDATORY FOR 2:00 P.M. PRACTICE. )
Be at Sallies at 9:00 a.m. in full school dress code with Jacket.
There will be a shuttle bus to St. Anthony's for the funeral mass.
Pack a lunch for after the mass.  We'll watch a running movie at school while we eat!
Practice will begin at 2:00 p.m.

In honor of Rita Rosaio, and in order to allow everyone on staff to attend her funeral Mass, Salesianum will CLOSE SCHOOL on Monday, January 31. In light of this decision, it is our hope that as many of us as possible will make every reasonable effort to attend both the visitation and funeral as a sign of support for Rita’s family, who shared their mother and grandmother so generously with us for 42 years. Please continue to pray for the Rosaio family throughout this weekend and in the weeks and months to follow.

Please note the following information related to Monday’s closure:

  • Arrangements for Rita: VISITATION - Sunday, 2:00-6:00 PM in Centenary Hall; MASS – Monday, 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s.

  • Shuttle Bus Monday: For those who do not wish to drive and/or park at St. Anthony’s, we will run continuously to and from the Church beginning in the school parking lot at 8:45 AM Monday morning. This may help the church as well as parking is scarce, especially with snow on the ground.

  • Monday Activities and Athletics: All afternoon activities, evening meetings, and athletic practices and events will be permitted after 2 pm on Monday.  Track practice will be from 2-3:30 p.m.
